Vibia: Big Winner in Lighting at IIDA Awards
We wanted to take a moment to extend some congratulations that are in order—at this year’s HD Expo, lighting manufacturer Vibia took home not one, but TWO honors in the lighting product category at the International Interior Design Association Awards. Taking both the individual and group awards were Vibia’s Alpha 7940 and Citrus fixtures, respectively.
So, congrats! But Vibia Lightingis no stranger to awards. The company’s Ameba Pendant fixture won a Best of the Year Award from Interior Design Magazine in 2009 in the lighting pendant category. Ameba also won the IIDA Lighting award for the group category last year.
So even with that success in the recent past, it sure didn’t keep Vibia from delivering more noteworthy products in 2010. Both the Alpha 7940 and Citrus become available in September. But here’s a little sneaky-peaky to see what all the excitement is about:

A slim and discreet reading light with an inner functionality that lets it point up, down, over—wherever you need it.
Alpha, a reading light of slim and discreet styling with an inner functionality providing reading and ambient illumination.

The fun-yet-sophisticated Citrus pendant pairs energy-efficient light sources with refined materials and luxurious finishes.
We’re excited for these to become available this fall. Congrats, Vibia!
