In the spirit of love and all, we thought it might be fitting to highlight one of our favorite new collections this season. We’ve long loved the restoration look, and this style may be here to stay, as this style blends seamlessly with modern, transitional and more traditional interiors. Murray Feiss has just introduced the Urban Renewal collection, which fits right in with this early-electric aesthetic. This mini-pendant collection includes a number of different styles, many of which are designed to show off an antique or decorative bulb underneath.
The collection ranges from vintage looking (above), with metal cages, seeded glass, and flared shades, to more modern silhouettes (below). Clean lines, smooth shapes and update schoolhouse looks help bring this beloved industrial style into modern times.
Do you like the restoration look? How do you use this old-timey style with more modern pieces?
