When was the last time you saw a sky full of stars? Or when was the first? If you live in a city, chances are bright city lights block that beautiful view every night.

The co-creator of “King Corn” has recently released an award-winning documentary highlighting the effects nighttime light is having on both nature and people, altering natural sleep patterns, eating habits and more due in large part to the increase of bright light used at night.
